Don't Tease Me!

On Monday night, after getting back from LI and starting to load up the trailer, the general contractor drove by the house. He checked out the trailer and said all looked good. And then, he said he though they might be able to break ground on Tuesday or Wednesday! Wow - this is exciting now - it is really going to happen.

Of course, since he stopped by, we have now had 3 straight days of rain. So, we may have to wait a little longer before the "big dig!"

The Trailer is Full

OK - over the weekend we spent some time loading up the trailer, which is now sitting in our driveway. Actually, all 4 kids pitched in and worked hard carrying out boxes from the house. I stayed mainly inside the trailer, grabbing the boxes and storing things up as tight as I could.

One trick I followed - as I filled each layer of boxes in the trailer, I grabbed my digital camera and took a few shots. Hopefully its not need, but in case we realize we need something that was packed away, the snapshots will hopefully point us in the general direction of where different items are located in the trailer.

Also, I was fortunate enough to get some help from a neighbor and take apart the kids bunk beds, and then get help from another neighbor to carry some of the heavier things, like tables and couches, into the trailer.
